HOW IT WORKS
STEP 1: Establish a common language.
On April 26th, 2011, Abbotsford leaders met at the first Leadership Forum to establish the keystones that Abbotsford must depend on as we move forward. The attenders were greeted by Mayor George Peary, Trustees Cindy Schaefer and Joanne Field, and Chief Constable Bob Rich and Saergent Mike Novakowski. Here is the resulting list after 3 hours of work.

STEP 2: Weave it in to what you're already doing!
A successful character initiative isn't one that will add a number of new programs or events. Instead, it will integrate character traits into what is already being done. Businesses, schools, and event organizers will weave in character awareness into what they're already doing! It's that simple!
Request a City of Character Committee member to help take your organization through the steps of identifying your own character values. The process will take up to 3 hours and there is no cost associated. EMAIL US
